ABOUT THE ROLE

The role requires an experienced person who can help manage the FinTech’s AWS infrastructure for their in-house product development teams and champion further changes to improve their CI/CD pipeline. The role will require working closely with the product development and production support teams to ensure our AWS infrastructure supports the growing needs of the business.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Fintech providing a payment gateway from banks to end client using in house developed, cloud based platforms. Their award winning technology platform connects hundreds of multinationals to banks, assessing market risk, credit risk and debtor days when facilitating payment transactions, unlocking operational and cost efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• • • Managing and innovating the AWS platform
    • Working with development teams to solve platform specific issues
    • Managing and improving on the CI/CD pipeline
    • Improving on the proactive monitoring for the production systems
    • Solving issues in a multi cloud environment
    • Evangelize the DevOps culture, IaC and automation

QUALIFICATIONS (E)ssential, (D)esirable

• • • (E) Strong knowledge in cloud platforms, GCP, AWS or Azure.
    • (E) Kubernetes experience.
    • (E) Scripting language skills. Python or bash.
    • (E) Terraform and frameworks around terraform.
    • (E) CI/CD tools. Google Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Bitrise.
